Our first couple of days were spent exploring the city while fighting jet lag and trying to stay awake, figuring out the best subway pass to purchase and where we could get groceries. Dwayne and I both take German classes with Deutsch Akademie, which run from 9 to 12 every morning. The time is perfect as it gives us a reason to wake up in the morning and, after the class, we get the rest of the day to explore the city. Munich is an incredibly green city and it is in the peak of its spring bloom. The weather has been incredible and we are in disbelief about the rain coming in the next couple of days.
